PRINCELY STATES OF BHOPAWAR AGENCY IN CENTRAL INDIA

                    

1) BHARUDPURA , BHUMIA RAJA THAKUR UDAI SINGH.
.A Ruling Chief.:-
chiefs was chouhan rajput of anjana sept Belongs to a Bhilala family, born about 1848 ; succeeded to the gadi In.1858.The population of the State is 1724, chiefly Hindus.
Area of the state was 57 sq.km and revenue was Rs 6000/-
Residence. Bharudpura, Bhopawar, Central India.
2) CHHOTA BARKHERA, BHUMIA RAJA  THAKUR MUGAT SINGH,
A Ruling Chief.
Born 1865 ; succ|eded to the gadi i4th September 1889. Is descended
from a Bhilala family was chouhan rajput. The population of the State is about 1259,
chiefly Hindus.. Area of the state was 60 sq.km and revenue was Rs  5000/-
Residence. Chhota Barkhera, Bhopawar, Central India.
3) GHARI, BHUMIA RAJA  THAKUR  NAHAR SINGH,.
A Ruling Chief
Born about 1839 ; succeeded to the gadi in 1864.The chiefs was chouhan rajput of anjana sept Belongs to a Bhilala family. The State is also called Bhaisakho; its population is
about 980. Area of the state was 16 sq.km and revenue was Rs 3000/-
Residence. Ghari, Bhopawar, Central India.
4) KALI BAORI, BHUMIA RAJA THAKUR SHER SINGH, Bhumia of.
A Ruling Chief.
Born 1859; succeeded to the gadi in 1874. The Bhumia receives
allowances both from Dhar and from Gwalior, on condition of
preservingorder in certain territory. The State contains about 1700
inhabitants,chiefly Hindus. The Chief was chouhan rajput of anjana sept.
 belongs to a Bhilala family.
Area of the state was 34 sq.km and revenue was Rs 6000/-Residence. Kali Baori, Bhopawar, Central India.
  5) NIMKHERA, BHUMIA, RAJA  DARYAO SINGH.
A Ruling Chief:
The bhumia Raja was chouhan rajput.. Originally came from marwar. They hold the hindola pargana by prescriptive right with out payment. Area of the state was 236 sq.km.
The population of the state was 5569 at the census of 1891 chiefly hindu and revenue is said to be Rupess 47011/-
Residence .Tirla  Nimkhera, Bhopawar, Central India.
 6) MOTA BARKHERA, BHUMIA RAJA  THAKUR NAIN SINGH.
 A Ruling Chief:
Born 1907; succeeded to the gadi in 1919. The Bhumia receives
allowances from Dhar. Area of the state was 114 sq.km and revenue was Rs 25000/-
The Chief was chouhan Rajput belongs to a Bhilala family.

  7)RAJGARH, BHUMIA RAJA BARJOR SINGH
A Ruling Chief:
Born 1907; succeeded to the gadi in 1919. The Bhumia receives
allowances from Dhar. Area of the state was 52 sq.km and revenue was Rs 5000/-
The Chief was chouhan Rajput belongs to a Bhilala family
Residence .RAJGARH, Bhopawar, Central India
  8)KOTHIDE,  BHUMIA RAJA MOTI SINGH
A Ruling Chief:
Born 1850; succeeded to the gadi in 1879. The Bhumia receives allowances from Dhar. Area of the state was 26 Sq.Km and revenue was Rs1400/- according 1901 papulation was 328, chiefly hindu.
The Chief belongs to a Bhilala family.
Residence KOTHIDE, Bhopawar, Central India
 9) CHIKATIYABAR, BHUMIA RAJA UMED SINGH.
Ruling Chief:
Born 1845; succeeded to the gadi in 1864. The Bhumia receives
allowances from Dhar.Area of the state was 5 Sq.Km and revenue was Rs825/- according 1881 papulation was 283, chiefly hindu.
The Chief belongs to a Bhilala family.
Residence .CHIKTIABAR, Bhopawar, Central India
 10) JAMNIA, BHUMIA RAJA THAKUR HAMIR SINGH,
A Ruling Chief.
Born 1855 ; succeeded to the gadi in 1863 as a minor. Belongs to a Songara chouhan rajput.. The founder of the family was Raja Nadir Singh, a famous Bhumia of Jamnia
Area of the state was 104 Sq.Km and revenue was Rs24000/- according 1881 papulation was 2877, chiefly hindu.
Residence. Kunjrod, Jamnia, Bhopawar, Central India.
11) KHATHORIA, BHUMIA RAJA RAM SINGH
A Ruling Chief
Born 1837 ; succeeded to the gadi in 1868 Belongs to a Bhilala family.
Area of the state was 17 Sq.Km and revenue was Rs2000
